HA at the VDI conference and at the Ledebur colloquium

Finally live on site again: In October, two events took place that offered the opportunity for personal exchange, the VDI conference and the Ledebur colloquium. The focus this year was on the latest development trends and the challenges of the automotive industry.

This year, too, many events had to be held virtually due to Corona. We were therefore all the more pleased to have the opportunity for a personal exchange at two events live on site - of course in compliance with the valid infection control measures. Exciting presentations and interesting exhibitions attracted many visitors from the industry to this year's events in Magdeburg and Freiberg.

At the VDI conference and trade exhibition on October 27 and 28 on the subject of casting technology in engine construction, experts from the industry got together in person in Magdeburg this year at last to exchange views on innovations and trends in the market.

The event focused on the far-reaching changes and challenges facing the automotive industry. And because big changes need strong partners, HA showed at the trade exhibition how the innovation platform, the HA Center of Competence, brings together foundries, machine manufacturers and toolmakers to test innovations for the automotive industry in practice.
The highlight at the HA booth was the trade fair counter printed in the HA CoC.

In the same week (from October 28 to 29), another interesting face-to-face event also took place: For the 31st time, graduates and foundry experts met for this year's Ledebur Colloquium in Freiberg. The two-day event was once again a good opportunity to exchange experiences and learn about new research and development trends in the foundry industry.

The HA team was pleased about the exchange with customers, business partners and interested parties live on site. Even though digital events are an important tool to stay in touch across the industry during the pandemic, they can never fully replace face-to-face exchanges.
