Metko HA Celebrates Completion of Plant Expansion in Bilecik
On June 18, 2026, the opening ceremony for the new plant expansion at the Bilecik site took place. Metko HA celebrated this important milestone together with customers, members of the board of the Turkish Foundry Association, employees, and representatives of the HA Group’s global management.
On the expanded factory grounds, a new finishing plant, a 1,200 m² open-air storage area, and a versatile multi-story complex featuring an indoor warehouse, modern offices, and meeting rooms have been constructed. A new laboratory and modern employee break rooms are also located there.
In a post on LinkedIn, Musa Erol, Managing Director of Metko HA, highlights the significance of the plant expansion and thanks everyone involved:
“With this plant expansion, we were able to increase our land area from fifteen dekar to thirty dekar (three hectares), enabling us to continue supplying the Turkish foundry industry with state-of-the-art technology and high-quality products for decades to come. At the same time, we are proud to have been able to offer our employees the high-quality work environment they deserve while also expanding our laboratory capabilities.”
