Interview with MEUSELWITZ Guss Eisengießerei
MEUSELWITZ Guss Eisengießerei is known for its impressive large and heavy castings. This includes the casting of an Enercon rotor hub. This wind power hub is part of one of the most economical windmills, which can supply around 4,000 households per year with electricity from renewable energy.
Due to our partner Meuselwitz and modern 3D printing technology from our HA Center of Competence, we were able to exhibit both the core and the casting in miniature at GIFA 2023.
The wind power hub is a perfect example of special requirements in hand-mold casting and shows that there is also a sustainable cycle behind the component of a wind power plant for renewable energies.
