Welcome to HA - The trainee week 2024
HA is pleased to welcome a total of seven new trainees at its sites in Germany for the start of their training in 2024. But before things get serious and the new phase of life really gets started, the annual Trainee Week in Hanover is all about getting to know each other.
Get together
From August the 5th to the 7th, the new trainees were given the opportunity to get a comprehensive insight into our company and get to know their fellow trainees and trainers. To mark the beginning of the week, the management presented the history and corporate structure of the HA Group. During the following factory tour, the trainees were able to gain their first impressions of production.
At the end of the first day, the group visited the Maschseefest, the largest lake festival in Germany, in the evening.
Working together for good cooperation
The second day continued with a workshop on the topics of personal responsibility and self-assessment. Together with trainer Sebastian Saul, the trainees worked out their strengths and skills in small groups and discussed teamwork and positive cooperation in a fun way.
In the evening, things got a bit more intense: at a joint team event at an adventure sports center in Hanover, the trainees competed against each other in various games involving knowledge, skill and speed.
Foundry and mining
On the last day of the trainee week, the group visited the Bergmann Automotive foundry in Barsinghausen. The group was able to observe the complex production processes up close and see how our products are used directly by the customer. At the end of the day, the group went deep underground. During a visit to the Klosterstollen, the disused coal mine in Barsinghausen, the trainees were able to explore the history of mining.
The trainee week is a great opportunity to ring in the start of a new professional challenge and make the start of training easier. We look forward to a successful collaboration with our new colleagues and are confident about our future together at HA!
