It does not work without casting

The courageous grip on the water tap

The classic washbasin tap is probably the most familiar piece of casting (brass) in our everyday lives and probably one of the first we use in the morning. Whether in the shower or brushing our teeth, with one movement the water flows at our desired temperature.

To produce the various fittings, cores are required that have a very high dimensional accuracy as well as an ideal core breakdown. An example of this is the "Finoris 260" single-lever washbasin fitting from hansgrohe, which is cast with a core made of Resin HB031 and Haerter AT7. Here, the entire product line of hot-box resins from Hüttenes-Albertus covers a wide spectrum for core production from non-ferrous metal castings for faucets to more complex aluminum castings.

Facts

The advantages of this resin system:

  • Long processability of the molding sand mixture
  • Fast curing in the hot mold
  • High strength level with
  • Optimum core decomposition after casting
  • For non-ferrous metal castings and complex aluminum castings
