Duosil 2K - Bonded core package

Now the inorganics are complete

From core package to powerhouse - The OM 656 cylinder head from Mercedes Benz is considered the most powerful six-cylinder series diesel on our roads manufactured with inorganic cores. Behind this is an optimized Manufacturing process for greater sustainability in our industry. With Duosil 2K, organic hotmelt adhesive is completely replaced by an inorganic glue. In this process, the bonding of the lower and upper water jacket and frame core takes place in an automated process. Hüttenes-Albertus has succeeded in combining the application advantages of organic hotmelt glue with the positive emission behavior of IOB inorganic binders.

HA accompanies the path to a completely sustainable and inorganic production of castings with its products along the process chain, from the use of inorganic reclaimed sand to the inorganic Cordis/Anorgit binder system and inorganic auxiliaries such as the self-curing inorganic 2-component adhesive.
