GEF is based on five key pillars:
- Research
- Training
- Product technological improvement
- Process optimization
- Methodology analysis

Project Implementation Phases
- Global analysis of the production process
- Identification of the production stages where the project will be applied
- Appointment of a project manager
- Definition of objectives
- Preparation and planning of the cooperation proposal
- Project execution and implementation

Training Courses
The courses are designed for foundry technicians and operators and focus on specific topics selected according to participants’ needs.
They can be held:
- at the customer’s premises
- at the Group’s facilities
- during the development of a GEF project
Training activities:
- are delivered by specialized personnel of the Group
- include both theoretical and practical sessions
- have a duration defined according to the topics covered
- can be integrated directly into project activities
When training is carried out together with a specific project, it supports all phases of study and implementation, including analysis and monitoring of the achieved results.
