ANKIROS 2022
The Turkish foundry industry has become number two in Europe and number nine in the world in terms of casting volume in recent years, and the ANKIROS/TURKCAST fair is the largest metallurgy event in Eurasia. It is supported by leading national and international metallurgical industry organisations and is considered an important platform to discover high-quality solutions for all related metal industries. After being postponed in 2020 due to the pandemic, it finally took place again and offered visitors the opportunity to discover the latest technologies in the global foundry and metallurgy industry.
For our colleagues from Metko HA, it was three successful days at ANKIROS 2022 with interesting discussions and numerous visitors. The open and inviting stand attracted many visitors from Thursday to Saturday - familiar faces as well as new participants. Peter Gröning gave a presentation on "Sustainable Cold Box Systems" as part of the accompanying lecture event, which was received with great interest by the audience.
Musa Erol, CEO of Metko HA already described the relevance of the exhibition very well in his interview: “This valuable fair offers an opportunity for a meeting of friends. We represent a huge family with our foundries and foundry suppliers, where all players know each other very well and our common sense is to generate value for our casting industry through new products, new projects and new markets with the understanding of united power.."
